Hi all,
While Adam is away in Michigan, Erica in Germany, Alexa busy with Opus 21, I am busy playing with other collaborators in the Melange Chamber Players. Our resident clarinetist, Sunshine Simmons, is having her first doctoral recital this Wednesday, March 28 at 6:30 pm at Regenstein Recital Hall at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Also assisting her will be Derin Kenny on harp, Kay Kim on piano and yours truly, Sharon Chung, on viola. Works will include:
Francois Devienne: Second Sonata for Clarinet and Piano
Robert Schumann: Marchenerzahlungen (Fantasy Pieces) for Clarinet, Viola, and Piano
Shulamit Ran: For an Actor: Monologue for Clarinet
Aaron Copland: Concerto for Clarinet
Sunshine, Zora (pictured above) and I all hope to see some of you there!
